The film
Don’t look to the stars.
When Sam and Andy head deep into the Appalachian mountains, their Christmas getaway is interrupted by a meteor shower.
As the sky falls and the woods around them begin to close in, the two are made to confront not only one another, but a strange and terrifying force from far beyond the tree line.
Nervous System is the first feature by multi-award-winning short filmmakers Matthew and Sarah Emery. The two serve as the entire cast and crew, handling all aspects of production from writing to shooting and scoring.
